Builders in Filey

Dan helped us assess whether we needed a full replacement or partial fix. We appreciated his honesty and clear explanations.

His team delivered on everything. Our house feels warmer, quieter, and looks a lot smarter from the outside now.

Our driveway installation was quick and efficient. We appreciated the advice on material choices and drainage solutions.

The gravel finish looks great and handles heavy rain really well.

This company went above and beyond. The work area was kept tidy, and the project manager updated us every day.

We had full confidence throughout, and the finished roof looks better than we expected. Really pleased with everything.

We’ve used plasterers before, but this was by far the best experience. Communication was constant, the crew were polite and they handled a tough job with ease.

We had artex ceilings skimmed and several walls reworked. The new surfaces are so smooth, even our painter was impressed. They kept everything clean and stress-free, which made all the difference.

DAB took care of everything—from planning and measurements to final decoration. Our new kitchen is far better than we expected.

They finished on time and under budget, and we’ve already recommended them to friends.

I contacted DAB to do groundwork for a small development of two homes. Their team handled everything — site clearance, footings, drainage and ducting.

What stood out was how methodically they approached each stage. They arrived with the right kit, worked fast but carefully, and everything was done by the book. Their communication was excellent too. Even when weather held us up, they worked around it and kept things on track. We now have two perfect slabs ready to build on.

Really impressed with how efficient they were. Polite, respectful, and got the job done without a fuss.

From planning to finish, the job went perfectly. No stress, just solid, skilled workmanship.

We were out of the house during the install and returned to a perfect kitchen. Great communication, no mess, and every element done professionally.

Even small touches like trims and socket placements were thoughtful.

We’d been putting off our bathroom renovation for years but finally went with DAB, and I’m so glad we did. The whole team made the process so straightforward.

Every detail, from the lighting to the tiling, was completed with care. They worked around our schedule and were always polite and tidy. It now looks modern, works far better for us, and feels like a new home.

They made and fitted new stairs that completely changed the look of our hallway. Great joinery work and super clean finish.

Really happy with the result.

The whole process was very well managed. They removed our old gravel drive and installed a new tarmac one in under a week.

Solid work and a very neat finish.
